MY STORY
My name is Tina Madelyn. I am a writer, diviner, dancer,
therapist, spiritual mentor, feminine rebel, and lifelong student.
I started my journey as an elementary school counselor. This was a short-lived experience, since I moved from Las Vegas to New York City shortly after to continue my studies in the psychospiritual worlds of healing. While in New York, I received my graduate degree in clinical social work and completed a three-year certificate program to practice Gestalt Therapy. I worked in both outpatient mental health clinics and private practice. The beauty of living in New York City was being able to work with diverse populations and serve clients from all walks of life. Understanding the range of what it means to be human, the impacts of complex trauma, and learning from my clients’ experiences, was the heart of my education and serves as the backbone of my healing practice today.

While working as a psychotherapist, my interest pulled me to other healing modalities. I took classes from a local shaman in palm reading and totem animals and I became a reiki practitioner. I enjoyed playing in the healing arts and was deeply curious beyond what my formal education had taught me. I then had my own health issues come up and started looking into holistic ways of healing beyond the physical plane. Through several failed attempts of understanding the root cause of my symptoms, a medical intuitive told me I had heavy metal toxins, and I was advised to have all my amalgams in my mouth removed, which then started healing some underlying health issues that left me for years feeling depleted and with limited vitality. Also living in a crowded, condensed city, revealed to me that I was a highly sensitive person and energetically absorbed my environments. While I attracted disincarnate beings as a child, I was starting to attract more of the unseen worlds and became extremely sensitive to energy around me. I knew I couldn’t maintain my quality of living while constantly dealing with the energetics of living on an island with 7 million people. Even the land was revealing to me it’s traumas and histories and it felt like I was constantly straddling two worlds.

After 7 years in New York, I moved to the outskirts of Seattle, where nature became a great balancer and harmonizer for my mind, body, and soul. I maintained a small holistic private practice and worked as a health coach for an insurance company. Life became more aligned to my unique being.
I joined a two-year ministry program at The Center for Sacred Studies, created by Elder Jyoti Ma, who founded the Council of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. This was called, The Ministry of Her Walking Prayer, where I became an ordained minister. This was the jumping off point for me to start integrating earth-based ways of living, ceremony, energy healing, shamanism, social work, and my own spiritual initiations. This included having dark nights of the soul, intensive personal healings, going through a divorce, and closing my practice because I was burnt out with the magnitude of healing that was required of me. I knew I was being prepared to be a more whole and embodied healer. I was also asked to let go of how I thought things should be and surrender more to a bigger plan I couldn’t see.
From here, I felt a deep call to study with Elder Malidoma Some, a medicine man from Burkina Faso, West Africa. He was teaching the art of cowry shell divinations and ancestral healing technologies. I entered his yearlong study of working with the elements, ancestors, and using cowry shell divination to help humans on their evolutionary journey. This medicine took me through many healings, sheddings, shape shiftings and rebirths. This cultivated a deeper understanding and relationship with Spirit and my Ancestors. I was being taught how to accurately diagnosis a problem or challenge beyond the medical world’s description and prescriptions. What the western world may have labeled as wrong or disordered, was often one’s gifts suppressed under cultural programming.
Learning cowry shell divination allowed me to see myself and others through this indigenous and mystical lens, which in turn, let my own gifts of clairaudience, clairvoyance, and clairsentience become more fully honed and sophisticated. Elder Malidoma taught that all the wisdom and life’s answers was sitting in your own bones.
Soul Retrieval, EMDR, Masculine/Feminine Integration work, Sacred dance, Space Clearings, Compassionate Depossession, Egyptian Reiki, and other energy healing modalities have been woven into the fabric of my soul’s journey.
It's been about 13 years now of a deep alchemical process of integrating everything I’ve learned and experienced, which could never fit nicely under a one page bio. I am still a practicing therapist for those who want to do deeper dives in trauma work, but many of my offerings are now more aligned with those looking to step into their empowerment, develop core values, rewild themselves, dance, breathe, creatively express, and come back home to their most authentic expression.
I currently live in Southern California and in a Sacred Dance Training for women, to become a dance facilitator for rewilding and creating sacred dance journeys. I also enjoy the personal art of pushing boundaries and cultural limitations through a feminine artist’s lens, using visual images, photography, and writing.

MY VISION
My vision is to help others navigate life transitions, shed old identities and ancestral patterns, manage ascension symptoms, and shift into a completely new world paradigm. The beauty of these chaotic times is the soul’s invitation to truly know itself as a co-creator and live in deep alignment and authenticity. Becoming who you truly are, a wild soul, becomes the anchor in rapidly changing world.
Liberation from the old stories, confidence in one’s bones and embodied living is my hope for all humans.
